Personally identifiable information is information that can be used to identify you, such as your name, postal address, email address, phone number, and the like.

The only way I'll receive and collect your personally identifiable information is if you choose to give it to me.  It's up to you to decide how much (if any) personally identifiable information you feel comfortable sharing with me.

You might wonder why I'd ask for personally identifiable information from you. Here are some examples:

  • When you submit a recipe, a gardening tip, a photo, a comment or anything else for publication on my site, I'll ask for your name and email address so I can communicate with you about your submission.

  • When you subscribe to my newsletter or ask to be added to my email list, I'll ask for your name and email address to send you the newsletter or add you to the email list.

If you would rather not to supply personally identifiable information when it's requested, that's your choice. You may visit my site anonymously, if you prefer. However, doing so may prevent you from engaging in some site-related activities.

Once your personally identifiable information has served the purpose for which you've submitted it, I'll discard it or store it in my files.

I will not sell your personally identifiable information, nor will I provide it to any third party without your permission.

If I make material changes in the collection of personally identifiable information, I'll inform all my site visitors by placing a notice on my site.
